Alice R. Butcher December 10, 1926-June 24, 2016 A funeral service for Alice R. Butcher, 89 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Terry Holobaugh officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call 10:00-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Law-Baker Funeral Home. Mrs. Butcher passed away June 24, 2016 at St. Ann's Hospital, Westerville. She was born December 10, 1926, in Mt. Vernon to the late James H. and Sylvia (Wright) Cochran. Alice was a member of the Homer Extension Group. She always had a smile and loved gardening and her cats. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bruce G. Butcher; sons and daughter-in-law, Dave Butcher, Mike Butcher, Tom and Kathy Butcher; grandchildren, Jason (Charlene) Butcher, Nathan (Stacey) Butcher, Chelse Anne Butcher; great-grandchildren, Carson, Abigail, Brandon, and Alex Butcher. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew Butcher; brothers, Chester, Robert Wayne and William Arthur Cochran; sister, Edna Yoakam.
