A funeral service for Alice May VanWinkle, 92, of Utica will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. VanWinkle passed away on May 31, 2023 at Altercare Newark North. She was born on May 30, 1931 in Licking County to the late Virgil E. and Mary (Scanlan) Moran.

Alice enjoyed arts and crafts and decorating cakes. She won many ribbons for her cakes.

She is survived by her son, Randy (Yvonne) VanWinkle; daughter, Deborah (Bill) Waller; grandchildren, Tiffany Waller, Randy VanWinkle, Bobby VanWinkle and Jennifer (Chad) Barnhart; great-grandchildren, Jewellina VanWinkle and Heather Barnhart; sisters, Twila Eagleston, Norma Mercer, Doris Lashley and Patty Little; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger C. VanWinkle; 8 brothers and 4 sisters.
