Alicia Anne Wilson
A graveside service for Alicia Anne Wilson, 48 of Mount Vernon, will be held at Patterson Cemetery Saturday July 6th at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Kelley officiating.
Alicia died June 28, 2013. She was born March 25, 1965, in Mount Vernon to the Edwin J. and Lela Rose (Sesser) Wilson.
She was a 1983 graduate of Granville High School. Alicia won many trophies, cups and ribbons riding her horses in competition in many horse shows from 1978-1983. After graduation she worked for Peoples Federal in Mount Vernon before moving to Columbus where she worked as a mortgage underwriter for banks and mortgage companies. She was a lover of nature and animals and helped design a home that bordered a nature preserve. She was a painter, a golfer, a decorator, a gourmet cook and had an opportunity to travel.
She is survived by mother, Lela Rose Summers, sister and brother-in-law Tricia and Jason Hufford all of Mount Vernon and long time friend Bob Coury of Columbus, many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Edwin J. Wilson.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Courage House 74 Granville St. Newark, Ohio 43055.
