Ann Elizabeth Mason

A funeral service for Ann Elizabeth Mason, 89, a life-long resident of Croton will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Croton Church of Christ, 40 S. Main St., Croton. Burial will follow in Hartford Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Croton Church of Christ.

Ann passed away on January 17, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born August 28, 1925 to the late Rosa (Boutwell) and Jacob "Budd" Bennett in Croton. She graduated in 1943 from Hartford High School. In 1947, Ann and Robert Eugene Mason were married and shared 53 years together. In addition to her husband and her parents, Ann was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

She was a member of the Croton Church of Christ where she taught children until October of 2014. She loved being outdoors, gardening and watching birds.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Clayton, Deb Peterman, Chuck (Bonnie) Mason, five grandchildren, Darcy (Glen) Alexander, Lance (Cassie) Clayton, Nate Mason, Judd (Katie) Peterman, Kady Mason, Lee Chiddention and 17 adorable great-grandchildren.
