Augustine A. Angeletti, 79, of Mount Vernon passed away December 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 2, 1939, in Utica to the late Sam and Gladys Mae (Corson) Angeletti.

Mr. Angeletti retired from the U.S. Navy after 28 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and outstanding football player at Utica High School. Auggie was a devoted father and grandfather.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony (Teri) Angeletti of Columbus; daughter and son-in-law, Lorri (Charles) Hupp of Utica; four grandchildren, Robert, Brittany, Kalene and Bryce Hupp; three great-grandchildren, Noah Beckley, Finn Hupp, Maclynn Mills; brothers and sister-in-law, Don (Nancy) Angeletti, Samuel Angeletti, special friend, G. Anna Humphries; pets, Tommy, Teddy and Caeser.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith Angeletti; sisters, Joann Sesser, Tiny Staugh and Twilla Kilworth.
