Barbara Sedwick

Newark - Barbara Sedwick, 67, of Newark, OH passed away at her residence on October 4, 2014 after losing her battle with ALS. She was born on May 27, 1947 in Clarion, PA. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dennis Sedwick; father, Edward Lewis of Utica; sons and daughters-in-law, Ray (Sheri) Sedwick of Johnstown and Christopher (Christy) Sedwick of Huber Heights; granddaughters, Hailey and Abagail Sedwick of Huber Heights; sister, Kathleen Spickelmier of Aurora, CO; brother and sister-in-law, Harry (Brenda) Lewis of London, England. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Lewis. Barb retired from Aetna Insurance in New Albany. She was an avid Buckeye and Steelers fan. Barb loved gardening, deer hunting and meeting and talking to new people. A special thank you to the Genitiva Hospice staff for the great care and support they provided.
