A graveside service for Beatrice O. Hewitt, 85 of Martinsburg, will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Jersey Cemetery.

Friends may call 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.

Beatrice passed away, September 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 16, 1932 in Toler, KY to the late Anthony T. and Hazel F. (Scites) Brown.

The most important things in her life were her children, grandchildren and her roses.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Teresa Fannin of Slidell, LA Tony and Trudy Hewitt of Rotunda, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Richard DeNune of Martinsburg; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Brown of Milwaukee, WI. .

She is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Hewitt who passed away September 14, 2012; three grandchildren; brothers, Bernard, Jimmie and Billie Brown.
