A funeral service for Bennie D. Klick, 98, of Newark, formerly of Utica, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 14, 2021 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Kelly Rammell officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service from 10-11 AM.

Mr. Klick passed away on June 9, 2021 at the Selma Markowitz Center in Newark. He was born on March 5, 1923 in Navarre, OH to the late Charles and Irene (Keller) Klick.

He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He was a member of St. Louisville Christian Church and he worked as a dairy farmer his whole life. He enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Charles (Laurene) Klick of Bladensburg, Irene (Tom) Smith of St. Louisville and Ben (Diane) Klick Jr. of Utica; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Klick; and sisters, Martha Woolley and Nellie Mills.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Laura M. Klick; brothers, Clark Klick and Claude Klick; and sisters, Mildred Eyester and Helen Pepper
