Betsy R. Learn

St. Louisville - A funeral service for Betsy R. Learn, 86 of St. Louisville, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Northside Church of Christ, 4427 Marion Rd. NE, Newark with Bruce Hissong and Frank Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.

Betsy died January 3, 2012 at Selma Markowitz Center/LMH, Newark. She was born March 20, 1925, in Chattanooga, TN to the late Harold R. and Pauline (Lewis) Crawford.

Betsy was a member of Northside Church of Christ, co-owner of Lindsay Soft Water and was involved in mission work in Haiti.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald D. Learn of St. Louisville; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Lee and Veronica Edwards of Newark; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Carol and David Allen of St. Louisville, Connie Jo and Terry Magers of St. Louisville, Brenda Louise and Raymond Mertz of Newark, Sharon and Harlan Hays of Utica; step-children, Carol L. Learn of New Concord and Dwayne (Kathy) Learn of Zanesville; 18 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Lois A. Hageman of Newark; half-brother, Tim (Char) Crawford of Coshocton Co.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Jim Crawford.
