Bette Jo Conley

Utica - A funeral service for Bette Jo Conley, 74 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Covenant Christian Church of God 13360 New Delaware Rd. Mount Vernon, Ohio with Roger Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery New Haven, Ohio.

Bette, died June 14, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born November 25, 1939, in New Haven, Ohio to the late James and Rose M. (Amburgy) Horne.

She was a member of Crossway Fellowship, Vannatta. Bette Jo loved her family first, especially her grand kids. She also enjoyed camping, reading and traveling .

She is survived by her husband VC Conley of 57 years, children, Vicki (Richard) White of Utica, Terry (Marsha) Conley of Newark, Darla Balka of Utica, Lisa (Shawn) Walters of St. Louisville, Amanda (Fred) Sposa of Utica, brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Kim Horne of Willard, Jim and Joy Horne of St. Augustine, FL, sisters and brothers-in-law, Barb and Terry Perkins of Willard, Kaye and Eddie Perkins of Willard, grandchildren, Heather (Patrick) Smith, Brianna (Terry) Borem, Jr., Jeremy (Amanda) White, Trenton and Tory Conley, Dustin (Kelly) and Dakota Balka, Hannah, Haley and Haden Walters, Shealyn and Benjamin Sposa and 9 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill, Gordon "Tiny" and Dick Horne, sisters, Dianna Joy Bolen, Minta Sue Justice and Muriel "Mert" Viars.
