Bette Jane Jones
December 17, 1949 - December 29, 2017

A funeral service for Bette Jane Jones, 68 of Utica, will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Mark McDaniel officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Centerpoint Cemetery, Thurman.

Friends and family may call Tuesday, January 2, 2018, 4:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Bette passed away at her residence December 29, 2017. She was born December 17, 1949, in Gallipolis to the late Orville and Leotta (Patterson) Jones.

Bette retired after 35 years as a teacher at North Fork Schools. She was a member of Utica United Methodist Church and volunteered for the American Red Cross at the Utica Community Blood Drives.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny (Krystal) Foster, daughter, Susan Foster, grandchildren, Myles and Matthew Foster, brother, Daniel L. Jones, niece and nephew, Holly (Chris) Petro and Jeffrey (Michele) Pope, great nieces, Mallory, Madison and Morgan Petro, Mikayla and Mikenzi Pope, and her dog, Sissy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Carole Ann and Gerald "Jeff" Pope.
