Betty E. Grennell

Utica - A funeral service for Betty E. Grennell, 78 of Utica, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Utica Church of Christ with Alan Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in Lock Cemetery.

Betty died August 7, 2010 at Ohio Eastern Star Home, Mount Vernon. She was born October 10, 1931, in Mount Vernon to the late George L and Velma I. (Myers). Douglass.

She was a member of the Utica Church of Christ and O.E.S. Glenwood Chapter #303. Betty retired from L.R.E. and also worked at The Miller Co.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael E. "Monk" Grennell and Lester A. and Linda Grenell all of Utica; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Norman Creighton of Utica; five grandchildren; four step grandechildren; ten great grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Donovan and Virginia Douglass and Nick Douglass all of Mount Vernon.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Grennell who passed away April 4, 2010.

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave. where there will be an Order of Eastern Star Service at 5:45 p.m.
