Betty L. Ritchey
Utica - A private internment for Betty L. Ritchey, 89 of Utica, will take place at this time. There will be a funeral liturgy at a later date with Reverend Stephen A. Metzger as celebrant.
Betty died February 9, 2010 at Country Court Nursing Center, Mount Vernon. She was born September 8, 1920, in Newark to the late Abraham N. and Nazarah Ann (Ritchey) Ritchey.
Betty was a member of Church of the Nativity Catholic Church, Utica and a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 92 in Utica.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Virginia Ritchey of Utica.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Louis G. Ritchey who passed away October 9, 1998.
Contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Knox County, 17700 Coshocton Rd., Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
