Bonnie J. Berger

Mount Vernon - A funeral service for Bonnie J. Berger, 63 of Mount Vernon, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Bonnie died October 8, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 19, 1947, in Marion to the late Wesley and Myrtle (Conley) Ranck.

Bonnie was an Ohio State University graduate with a B.S. in math. She showed Jersey cattle and Draft Ponies. She was a member of Ohio Jersey Breeders Association, National Jersey Breeders Association, Northern Ohio Draft Pony Association and worked at H and R Block for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert T. Berger of Mount Vernon; son, Brett and Tom (Bilcze) Berger of Akron; daughter, Carol and Stephanie (Crites) Berger of Mount Vernon; "adopted" daughter, Nicolette and Matthew Swift of Columbus; brother and sister-in-law, Wes and Marianne Ranck of Marengo; sister and brother-in-law, Lynne and Roger Smith of Newark; brother-in-law, Gail Berger of Mount Vernon.

Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Monday, October 11 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.
