A funeral service celebrating the life of Brenda Fay Cordle, age 66, will be held at 1pm on Monday December 18, 2023 at Jersey Baptist Church,13260 Morse Rd, New Albany, Ohio 43054, with Pastor Phil Duncan officiating. Family will receive family and friends at Jersey Baptist Church from 12pm to 1pm prior to the memorial service.
Brenda passed away peacefully at home. She was born January 1,1957 in Sunbury, Ohio to the late Ernest and Nancy (Cantrell) Cordle. Friends and family will remember Brenda as a woman who loved the Lord and her family fiercely. Brenda was a member of Jersey Baptist Church since 2004. She loved attending her small group at church, attending several classes, serving at church when she could, and attending Worship services on Sundays. Brenda loved her entire family, her beloved parents who passed away in 2021, her sisters and brother in laws, 3 sons, 2 daughter in laws, 5 grandchildren, aunts and uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. Brenda loved family gatherings and anytime with her family. Brenda was a model of faith and love in action. Brenda was formerly at Tech International for 14 yrs, then retired from Liebert Corporation after 20 years in 2015, where she served as an MTT, Manufacturing Technical Trainer in wiring. Brenda enjoyed sewing, knitting, tennis and gardening.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Nancy Cordle, brother in laws Bill Thompson, Jay White, and her granddaughter Ashlynn Breann Laslo. She is survived by sons and daughters in law, Chris and Kristi Laslo of Hilliard, Ohio, Scott and Traci Laslo of Utica, Ohio and William Witten of Westerville, Ohio, sister's and brother in laws, Wilma Thompson of Louisa Kentucky, Jeannie and Fred Blevins of Sunbury, Ohio, Mary White of Westerville, Ohio, and Teresa and Phil Stephens of Johnstown, Ohio, and grandchildren, Clayton Laslo, Brayden Laslo, Callene Laslo, and Nolan Laslo. Many aunts and uncles, many cousins, nephews and nieces, who she loved dearly.
Contributions may be given to Colon Cancer research and or Hospice in memory of Brenda.
