Carol S. Bricker

Utica - A funeral service for Carol S. Bricker, 70 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Alan Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.

Friends may call 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.

Carol died October 20, 2013 at Ohio State University Health Systems, Columbus following a brief illness. She was born April 26, 1943, in Newark, Ohio to the late Stanford J. and Agnes E. (Wenzel) O'Hara.

Carol was a loving mother and grandmother. Her caring spirit for others will be remembered by all those who knew her. She received an associates degree in business management from C.O.T.C. and was a member of Glenwood Chapter #303 of the Ohio Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carl A. and Lisa J. Bricker of Delaware, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Kelly Smith of Newark; seven grandchildren, Courtney, Cailie, Marissa, Mason and Madison Bricker and Tyrone and Tanner Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Susan O'Hara, Gene and Karen O'Hara all of Newark: many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, William O'Hara.
