A funeral service for Carolyn M. Bebout, 58, of Utica, will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, October 4, 2019 at Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave. with Pastor Doug Swan officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery, Gambier.

Friends may call Thursday, October 3, 2019, 5:00-8:00 pm at Utica Church of Christ.

Mrs. Bebout passed away September 29, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 25, 1960 in Highland Park, MI to Claudia (Rathnaw) Poore and the late Bohdan Batryn.

Carolyn was a member of Utica Church of Christ, Naomi Circle and taught Sunday School. She was a Registered Nurse and member of the National Nurses Association. Carolyn was a 1979 graduate of Lakota High School in West Chester, OH. She enjoyed homemaking, cooking and gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Charles "Chuck" Bebout, son, Paul Bebout, both of Utica; mother, Claudia Poore of West Chester; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah L. and Charles "Chris" Dunn of Fairfield; beloved family members, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bohdan Batryn and brother, John Rose.
