A funeral service for Carolyn A. Harrah, 81 of Utica will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Doug Swan officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2018 at the funeral home.

Carolyn passed away July 31, 2018 at her granddaughters. She was born in Utica, November 12, 1936 to the late Isaac N. and Mary M. (Good) Earlewine.

Carolyn loved all sports and watching her grandchildren play and especially Cleveland. She was a member of Ohio Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard Jere and Janice Harrah, Jr of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Adalyn Harrah and Timm Grover of Newark, Gerry L. and Joy Harrah, Jr. of Utica, Tabatha Harrah of New Albany, Sara and Matthew Howe of Utica; five great-grandhildren Tristin and Aubrey Harrah, Kaylyn and Carter Howe and Shanna Smith; sister Julia Tharp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jere Harrah, Sr who passed away May 9, 1997; sons, Vaughn Lewis, Gerry L. Harrah, Sr.; brother, William Earlewine; sister, Betty Ryan.
