Chad L. Shuley, 54 of Mt. Vernon passed away on January 13, 2024 at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1969 in Mt. Vernon to the late Terrence Joseph Shuley and Cynthia Anne (Billman) Ransom.

Chad worked construction and was a mechanic that could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Shuley; son, Jacob Shuley; granddaughter, Madison Kiser; son-in-law, Raymond Kiser; siblings, Jennifer Atherton, Tracy Shuley, Tiffany Miller, Mike (Kristin) Shuley, Joe Shuley, Jessica Noyes, Brianna Ransom, Terrence Ransom and Preston Ransom; step-father, Jack Ransom; uncle, Kendall Billman; he was known as Gruncle Chadio to many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Tim Gorsuch.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia Kiser; son, Carl Chad Shuley; aunt, Kate; and nephew, Ronnie Miller.

Calling hours will be held 4-7pm on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.
