Charles R. Muston, 89 of Utica passed away on October 22, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 3, 1935 in Newark, OH to the late Walter R. and Bessie L. (Earlywine) Muston.

Chuck was a 1954 graduate of Utica High School and served honorably in the National Guard. He worked at Flemings Dairy and went on to start his own business, Modern Refrigeration. He owns many rental properties around Utica. He was a member of the Utica Jaycees. In his younger years he enjoyed roller skating at Velvet where he would meet his future wife of 71 years, Vivian (Wright).

He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Muston; son, Mark (Angie) Muston; daughter, Teresa (Steve) Hubbard; grandchildren, Lakota, Steven and Hateya Muston, Ashley Williams, Stephanie (James) Triplett and Jami (Kevin) McKinney; brother, Gerald (Deb) Muston; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Steven Muston; sister, Dora Cline; and brother, James Muston.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. A private graveside service will be held at Wilson Cemetery.
