A funeral service for Cheryl L. Teegardin, 60 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Steven Williams, a minister at Bell Church of Christ, officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday, August 7, 2018, 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cheryl passed away August 4, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus surrounded by her family. She was born November 17, 1957, in Mt. Vernon to the late Gene and Earlene J. (Edwards) Cunningham.

Cheryl's family was the most important thing in her life. She worked at Aloe Unique Hair Studio, Happy Hearts Child Care Center and Newton Elementary SACC Program.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Terry Teegardin of Newark, daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey and J.B. Kurtz of Newark, grandsons, Brylar, Cohen and Kaisen and a fourth grandson on the way; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Lisa Cunningham of St. Louisville, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughters, Nikki, Nicole and Heather Teegardin; brother, William Cunningham.
