Christina R. "Rosie" Stratton, 87, of Mount Vernon, passed away December 9, 2017 at Country Court Nursing Center, Mount Vernon. She was born June 25, 1930 in Bladensburg to the late Marvin J. and Ollie E. (Colgin) Snyder.

There will be no services. She was a member of Bladensburg Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Ginger DeGroat, Becky and Mark Larimore; three grandchildren, Ryan Murvine, Heather (Brian Clemmons) Larimore, and Stephen (Amanda) Larimore; seven great-grandchildren, Rochelle and Miranda Murvine, Kayla, Jazymn, J'Shon, Faith, and Hope Larimore.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Rocky Murvine and son-in-law, Mack DeGroat.
