Connie Y. Thompson

September 29, 1940 – April 11, 2018

A funeral service for Connie Y. Thompson, 77, of Johnstown will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Brother Jim Duty officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery, Johnstown.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 pm. on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Law-Baker Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thompson passed away on April 11, 2018 at the Selma Markowitz Center in Newark. She was born on September 29, 1940 in Columbus to the late Donald H. and Leila (Styer) Vance.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Diane Thompson of Rushville, Jerry Thompson of Johnstown and Lisa Thompson of Delaware; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Tom Ratcliffe of Lancaster and Cheryl and Frank Dillon of Mt. Vernon; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Russell Vance; sister, Carolyn (Dennis) Shore.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Thompson; son, John "Jack" Thompson; brother, George Vance; sister, Shirley Vance.
