It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig Allen Sesser, who left this world on May 20, 2025, at the age of 66, in Newark, Ohio. Born on February 19, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, Craig was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering spirit.
Craig was the cherished son of James and Mary Sesser and is preceded in death by both of his parents, who instilled in him the values of kindness and hard work. He is survived by his sister Carla Sesser as well as his devoted spouse Carolyn, with whom he shared 40 wonderful years of marriage, and their three daughters: Holly, Jennifer, and Carrie. Craig's legacy will continue to live on through his treasured grandchildren: James, Dakota, Jayla, and Christopher, who brought him immense joy and pride.
A proud graduate of Northridge High School in Johnstown, Ohio, Craig built a successful career, dedicating 13 years to Anomatic before retiring. His work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in everything he did.
Craig was a vibrant member of his community, known for his warm smile and generous spirit. He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where he forged lasting friendships and contributed to the well-being of those around him. He had a passion for discussing current events and the latest news, always eager to engage in meaningful conversations.
A true sports enthusiast, Craig loved watching golf on television and spent countless hours playing golf on his PlayStation 2. His unwavering loyalty to the Pittsburgh Steelers was evident in his extensive collection of Steelers clothing and memorabilia. Additionally, he was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team, proudly cheering them on through every season.
Craig's love for music was matched only by his enthusiasm for classic rock, filling his home with the sounds of his favorite bands. He was a man who truly embraced life, finding joy in the simplest of pleasures.
As we remember Craig, we extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Oncology department for their compassionate care during his illness. A special thank you also goes to Katie from OhioHealth Hospice, whose support made Craig's passing more serene and comfortable.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Craig's life at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica, Ohio, with the visitation on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm and the burial ceremony at Lock Cemetery, Centerburg, Ohio on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at 11am.
Craig Allen Sesser's light will forever shine in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on through the love he shared and the memories he created. Rest in peace, dear Craig. You have left an indelible mark on our lives.
