Daryle L. Swetnam

Daryle L. Swetnam, 60, of Newark, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Hunkins officiating. Burial will follow at Homer Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home, 34 N. Main St. Utica.

Daryle passed away suddenly on March 19, 2025, at Licking Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born November 13, 1964, in Columbus, OH, to Barbara Ellen (Reams) Swetnam and the late Paul Byron Swetnam.

Daryle was a lifelong resident of Licking County and attended Utica High School.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Paul (Christy) Swetnam, II and Mark Swetnam; sister, Anna Jenkins; wife, Virginia; children, Shawn Mason, Darlene Swetnam, Cassandra (Michael) Luckey, Brittany Swetnam, Aaron Merringer, and Aubrey Swetnam; several grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to this father, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Swetnam, and his daughter, Aryle Swetnam.
