David R. Spearman, age 71, of Centerburg, passed away on April 7, 2023 after a battle with cancer. David was born on May 31, 1951 to the late Clyde and Donna (Davis) Spearman.

David graduated from Northridge High School in Johnstown, Ohio and Ohio University, Athens Ohio. David served in the Peace Corp for two years teaching at a school in Zimbabwe, Africa. He settled in the Marietta area and taught science at Fort Frye School in Beverly, Ohio. He retired after 35 years of teaching. David enjoyed playing pool, golf, and fishing. He loved watching and attending The Ohio State football games.

David is survived by his sisters Dorinda Spearman, Donita (Ballard) Bowman; brothers, Don Spearman, Dan Spearman and loving nieces and nephews.
