Deborah Elaine Linger, 73 of Utica passed away on November 18, 2025 at her residence. She was born on November 30, 1951 in Columbus, OH to the late Richard and Carol (Knapp) Wise.

Deborah was young at heart and full of life. She had a great sense of humor. She loved to laugh, to make others laugh, and even to pull the occasional playful prank. She loved animals, especially her cats. Her home and heart were always open to the pets she adored. She also enjoyed gardening. Her biggest obsession in life was her husband.

She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Jeff Linger; children, Serena (Troy) Jones, Tiffany Jacobs, Tyler Parkinson, Blake Linger and Natalie (Randy) Whitson; grandchildren, Abby and Camden Jones, Devin and Caleb Jacobs and Ryatt Parkinson; sisters, Pamela Spears and Vicki (Jim) Fogarty; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Whitney Parkinson.

Funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. The family will receive friends from 10-11am prior. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Licking County Humane Society, Epilepsy Foundation or Gentiva Hospice.
