Newark - Calling hours for Dennis J. Smith, 60 of Newark, will be held 9:30-10:30 am, Saturday, August 15, 2015 with the service at 10:30 a.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Bruce Hissong officiating.
Dennis died August 12, 2015 at Laurels of Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon. He was born June 6, 1955, in Mount Vernon, the son Mary Lou (Feldner) Smith and the late Robert L. Smith.
He was a member of the American Legion, Post #92.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou (Feldner) Smith of Utica; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Donna Smith of Warsaw; nephews, Ryan (Lindsay) Smith and Adam (Julie) Smith.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Smith who passed away April 24, 2001 and brother, Michael Smith.
