A funeral service for Diana Marie (Dunnick) Cherry, 76, of Utica will be held at 11am on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Utica Presbyterian Church, 9 S. Main St., Utica with Terry Holobaugh officiating.  Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.

Diana passed away on November 5, 2021, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on October 5, 1945, in Columbus Ohio.

She was a member of Utica Presbyterian Church Over the years Diana had 2 different occupations, she was a legal secretary for the Ohio Division of Wildlife and OSU James Cancer Hospital. She became a certified a chemical dependency counselor later in life and retired from Unizan Bank in Utica.  She loved her pets Juliet and Annie, she enjoyed crafting and photography.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Marcum; stepchildren, Colleen Sofsky and Benjamin Cherry; grandchildren, Bryan (Abby), Michael and Jennifer Anderson and Katelyn Sofsky; great-grandchildren, Mariah, Wyatt, Christopher, Owen, Sarah, Victoria, and Colton; sisters, Cecelia (Richard) Sheline and Melody Smith; also, her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Cherry; mother, Betty Jean Orga; and grandmother, Elsie L. Stratton.
