A funeral service for Don William "Bill" Edman, 72, of Newark, formerly of Raleigh, NC will be held at 2pm on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Doug Swan officiating.  Burial will follow at Homer Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by Licking County Veterans Alliance.

The family will receive friends from 12-2pm prior to the service.

Bill served honorably in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years.  He loved golfing but most of all his grandson, Delfino meant the world to him.

Bill passed away on March 16, 2022 at OSU East Hospital.  He was born on August 31, 1949 in Mt. Vernon to the late Donald E. and Vivian (Lake) Edman.

He is survived by his children, Matthew, Catherine and Susan Edman; grandson, Delfino Lopez; sisters, Barbara A. Edman, Mary L. (Tod) Lindsey and Jewel M. (Dale) Nichols brother, David (Marsha) Edman; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
