Zanesville - A funeral service for Donald K. Dean, 69 of Zanesville, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Dupler officiating. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery.
Donald died November 27, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 15, 1941, in Newark to the late Kenneth S. and B. Irene (Popham) Dean.
He was formerly employed by Chattanooga Glass, Mount Vernon. Don was an avid NASCAR fan, a fisherman and he enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Patty Nussbaum of Wooster; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Scott Hardesty of Zanesville, Robin and Robert Hardesty of Ft. Lewis, WA, Racheal Dean-Nussbaum of Ft. Lewis, WA; eleven grandchildren; brother, Daniel K. Dean of Utica; sisters, Julia A. O'Hara of Newark, Linda (E.W.) Brown of Mount Vernon, Mary E. VanWy and Betsy J. Hood both of Utica.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. , Wednesday, December 1 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.
