A graveside service for Donald Clifford Ryan, 84 of Hebron will be held at 11am on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Newark Memorial Gardens, 4244 Marion Rd., Newark with Pastor Don Allen officiating.

Don passed away on January 29, 2024 at the Selma Markowitz Center in Newark. He was born on July 13, 1939 in Utica, OH to the late Franklin Luther and Margaret Ruth (Devore) Ryan.

Don loved riding motorcycles, camping and his beloved dogs, Lady and Sassy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, June "Peggy" (Remley) Ryan; son, Richard Ryan; step-children, Susan (Mike) Gray, Keith (Teresa) Gieseck and Don Hess; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Elva Joreen Hyatt, Frances Laura Garno and Gladys Margaret (Ron) Sprague; brother-in-law, Richard Russell Remley; sister-in-law, Shirlie Cannon; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Sammy and Frankie Ryan; step-son, Jeffrey Craig Gieseck; and nephew, Ronnie Sprague.
