Dorothy "Dottie" Crum

Utica - A funeral service for Dorothy "Dottie" Crum, 74 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Mr. Larry Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown.

Friends may call 1:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 29 at the funeral home.

Dottie died June 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born December 21, 1939, in Columbus to the late Ralph and Helen (Hess-Vollrath) Burwell, Sr.

Dottie retired from Western Electric and currently worked for Walmart.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Debi Furr of Johnstown, Jeff and Pam Furr of Utica, Mike and Amy Furr of Johnstown; grandchildren, Tonya, Josh, Briana, Ted, Keegan, Cameron, Jeffrey, Rachel, Tony, Nick and Katie; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Burwell, Jr. of Utica; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy Farley of Deluth, MN, Mary and Jamie Logan of Martinsburg, Terry Shafer of Reynoldsburg, Lora and Mike Cain of Johnstown.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Crum; brother, Barry Burwell.
