Dorothy L. Smith

Dorothy L. Smith, 91 of Newark, formerly of Utica passed away on June 16, 2021 at the Inn at SharonBrooke. She was born on September 10, 1929 in Greenup County, KY to the late Raymond and Edith (Walker) Hannah.

She is survived by her son, Michael Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Steve Mattmuller; grandchildren, Jacqueline Mattmuller, Shanna Smith, Maryssa (Jordan) Misamore and Jarrod Smith; two great-grandchildren; devoted partner of 20 years, Dayle Wolford; and sister, Gawnola Hannah.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Smith; daughter-in-law, Marsha Smith; and two brothers and one sister.

A private graveside service will be held at South Lawn Cemetery, Utica.
