Douglas R. "Pudge" Horn

Douglas Horn, or Pudge, as many of his friends affectionately called him, passed unexpectedly on November 6, 2021.  He was born October 15, 1963, in Columbus, OH, to the late John W. and Mabel P. (Cox) Horn.

Pudge was a 1982 graduate of Johnstown High School, where he played football for the Johnnies.

After high school he enlisted into the Army where he spent the next 4 years with an honorable discharge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John E. Horn, William R. Horn, and Woodrow M. Horn, and sister, Linda Louise Horn.

He is survived by his daughter, DeLaney (Spencer) Robinson of Johnstown, and their 4 daughters, McKenzie, McKayla, McKenna, and McKenleigh; sister, Cindy (Joe) Trusler of Newark; sister-in-law, Susan Horn of Johnstown; aunt, Arlene Sparks of Troy; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special family friends, Mark Potts, Donnie Hall, and Shelby Wallace.

Family and friends were the light of his life and he loved spending time with all of them.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at The Vineyard Community Church, where a Masonic service will be held.  Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the Church, 10444 Crouse-Willison Rd. Johnstown, OH.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown, where military honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
