Edwin G. Newlun, Jr.

A funeral service for Edwin G. Newlun, Jr., 63, of Blissfield, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Law-Baker Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill Lavley officiating.  Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 34 N. Main St. Utica.

Ed passed away January 24, 2020, at the OSU Medical Center Hospice Unit.  He was born December 20, 1956, in Columbus, to the late Patsy (Willard) Early and Edwin G. Newlun, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Penny Burnett.

He is survived by his children, Louise (Gene) Willis of Pickerington, Brandon (Hailey) Newlun of Blissfield, Adam (Emma Hissong) Newlun of Utica, Misty Runyon of Columbus, and Brittany Lowery of Newark; grandchildren, Rylan, Gianna, Elijah, August, and Adam; brother, Clarence Newlun; sisters, Evelyn Baker of CA and Patricia (Don) Ferguson of Florida; best friend, Leonard Fry of New Albany, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ed was a great farmer and a wonderful dad and grandpa.
