Elizabeth Ellen "Liz" Rose, 83, of Utica, died Thursday, March 3, 2022, at her daughter's residence. She was born April 7, 1938, in Licking County to the late Charles and Nannie (Fletcher) Young.

Liz was a member of Northside Church of Christ and Ladies Auxiliary Legion Post #92. She enjoyed traveling, gambling, and bowling.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Dennis) McNamara; grandchildren, Chasity, Misty, James, and Eric; great grandchildren, Austin, Brian, Tori, and Bella; brother, Raymond (June) Young; sister, Dottie (Seldon) Walton; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Duncan; second husband, Dennis Rose; daughter, Joann Duncan; and granddaughter, Summer Ray McNamara.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 1:00pm at Homer Cemetery.
