Emanuel E. Miller, 84 of Utica, died October 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. He was born October 17, 1931 in Mount Hope to Eli J.C. and Clara (Weaver) Miller.

Calling hours will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 12-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Melita Fellowship Church, 9956 Camp Ohio Rd., Utica and 9-10 a.m. Sunday, October 9, 2016 preceding the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. with Alan Byler officiating. Burial will follow in Melita Cemetery.

He was married November 17, 1955 to Clara Mae (Coblentz) Miller who survives. To this union were born 8 children, Carol Ann (Dan) Hostetler, Utica, Ruth Elaine (Marlin) Miller, Utica, Timothy Ray (Sarah) Miller, Sarasota, FL, James Alan (Carolyn) Miller, Daniel Ellis (Carolyn) Miller, David Emanuel (Wanda) Miller, Darryl Eugene (Renee) Miller and Michael Andrew Miller all of Utica, 46 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. His brother, Eli (Carol) Miller and two sisters, Susie (Jake) Mullet and Ada (Jacob) Nisley also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Christian and Aden and one sister, Effie (Eli) Yoder.

He accepted Jesus as his Savior in his youth and was a faithful member at Melita Fellowship Church. He enjoyed farming his whole life and enjoyed meeting people while hosting at Miller's Essenplatz. His love for family genealogy was well known.
