Emma M. (Yoder) Eash, 86 of Utica, died Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Licking
Memorial Hospital from health complications and pneumonia.
She was born on May 2, 1930 in LaGrange, Indiana to the late Monroe J. and Emma (Schlabach) Yoder. She married Mahlon D. Eash on March 24, 1949, Mahlon died December 13, 2011.
She was a member of Melita Christian Fellowship Church.
She is survived by 7 of her children. Mervin (Esther) Eash of Utica, Duane (Nancy) Eash of Gambier, Lorene (Dan) Hochstetler of Utica, LaVerne (Sara Kay) Eash of Gambier, Floyd (Linda) Eash of Utica, Mahlon Jr. (Erma) Eash of Gambier, Ernie (Janice) Eash of Utica; daughter-in-law, Wanda Eash of Romney, WV; son-in-law Paul Miller of Austin TX.; 37 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth (Jerry) Mast, and brother, Monroe Jr. (Susan) Yoder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mahlon Eash; son, Dennis Eash; daughters, Marietta Eash, Karen (Eash) Miller; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. & Monday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Melita Fellowship Church, 9956 Camp Ohio Rd., Utica.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Melita Christian Fellowship Church with Alan Byler and Dave Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Melita Cemetery.
