A funeral service for Emmajean M. (Davis) Ashbrook, 87 of Johnstown, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2018 at Johnstown United Methodist Church, 159 S. Main St. with Pastor Matt VanWinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the church.

Mrs. Ashbrook passed away October 17, 2018 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center. She was born May 26, 1931 in Alexandria to the late Morris and Helen (Cramer) Severn.

Emmajean was a member of Johnstown United Methodist Church and the Martha Circle Women's Group. She retired from Western Electric, was an avid camper and loved her coffee.

She is survived by her children, Thomas and Ann Davis of Johnstown, Linda and Tim Swick of London, OH, Laura and Greg Russell of Newark, Daniel and Tammy Davis of Johnstown; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Judy Severn of Maryville, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma and Dick Johnson, Shirley and Kenny Smith all of Johnstown; brother-in-law, Larry Watson of Lima.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Davis and second husband, Wayne Ashbrook; sisters, Pauline Waters and Betty Watson,
