Utica - A funeral service for Erma B. Morris, 83 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2011 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Keith Malone, Craig Davis and Andrew Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Silent Home Cemetery, Reynoldsburg.
Erma died January 4, 2011 at Centerburg Pointe. She was born July 24, 1927, in Wagram, Franklin County, Ohio to the late George L. and Annie J. (Myers) Link.
Erma was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ, Utica. She worked during the war years at the Army Depot, Columbus and worked several years at Watts Restaurant, Utica.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Terrie Morris of Utica and Ronald Morris of Tennessee, John and Diane Morris of Roseville, David Morris of Newark, Jim and Amanda Morris, Columbus; daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Jay Johnson of Roseville, Catherine Wartenbee of Zanesville; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Minkus of Columbus; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
