Esther M. Coss Homer - A funeral service for Esther M. Coss, 94 of Homer, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Reverend Cynthia Stiverson officiating. Burial will follow in Homer Cemetery. Friends may call 2-6 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Law-Baker Funeral Home. Esther died April 9, 2015 at Chapel Grove Inn, Heath. She was born September 30, 1920, in Eden Touwship, Ohio to the late William F. and Blanche M. (Hutchison) Berger. She was a member of Homer Presbyterian Church. Esther retired as Post Master in Homer and was a member of Ohio Eastern Star and Utica Senior Citizens. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Linda Coss of Johnstown, James W. and Judy Coss of Alexandria; daughter, Nancy Dye of Homer; six grandchildren, Adam and Laura Coss of Newark, Cynthia and Steve Childers of Westerville, Bryan Coss of Alexandria, Stacy and Todd Bash of Alexandria, Jennifer and Matt Wittman of Croton, Amber and Matt Ruth of Upper Sandusky; twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert who passed away in 1995; brothers, Leslie, Charles, Max and Dean Berger; sisters, Ruth McCulough, Bessie Marston and Mildred Petty.
