A funeral service for Frank E. Grennell, 81 of Utica, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Utica Church of Christ with Alan Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Lock Cemetery.
Frank died April 4, at his residence. He was born February 28, 1929, in Mt. Vernon to the late Frank and Bernice (Moran) Grennell.
He attended the Utica Church of Christ, Co-founder Utica EMS, Army Veteran, member of American Legion Post 92, Licking Lodge # 291, Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite, Aladdin Shrine 40 & 8. Ambassador and Provost of Aladdin Shrine.
He is survived by wife, Betty E. (Douglass) Grennell, sons, Michael E. "Monk" Grennell, Lester A. and Linda Grennell, daughter, Patricia and Norman Creighton all of Utica, brother, Charles Grennell of Groveport and five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James and John Grennell, sister Isabelle Smith and daughter-in-law Renee C.

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8, Tuesday, April 6 at the Utica Church of Christ 115 N. Central Ave. Utica.
