Utica - A chapel service for Freda L. Addis, 78 of Utica, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Newark Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tom Myers officiating.
Freda died May 2, 2010 at Laurels of Mount Vernon. She was born April 27, 1932, in Washington County, Ohio to the late John and Bertha M. (Gheen) Sharp.
Freda retired as a health aid after many years. She loved homemaking and her flower garden.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John R. Addis of Utica whom she married June 25, 1952; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Chizuko Addis of Utica, William Addis of Pataskala, David and Cindy Addis, Robin and Kay Addis all of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Linda Sharp of Hillsboro, Don and Connie Sharp of Heath; sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Dana Wymer of Columbus.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Bill, Homer and Freddie Sharp.
Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica is assisting the family with arrangements.
