Gerald J. Weaver (Jerry), 71, passed away August 21, 2018 at Spring Meadows Care Center in Woodstock, Ohio.

He was born November 3, 1946 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Donal D. and Evernee E.(Martin Weaver) Collins.

Jerry grew up in Henderson, Kentucky and spent many years living all across the United States and until finally landing in his favorite spot, Honolulu Hawaii. He resided in Honolulu for almost 20 years until his illness in 2016.

He is survived by his son, Jerrod Weaver of Indianapolis, IN; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharla (Greg) Thomas of Grandview, OH, Tarya (Mike) Lanaghan of Grand Rapids, MI, Leia (Josh) Bernhard of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth (Wayne) Lofton and Sherry Weaver.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Duane Weaver.

A private family service will be held at a later date in Henderson, KY.
