With profound sadness and immeasurable love, we announce the passing of Gloria Frances Mae Daniels, affectionately known as Glo, Globug, Buggy, and Aunt Glo. Gloria passed away peacefully at her home in Utica, Ohio, on September 26, 2026, at the age of 47, surrounded by her family.

Gloria was born on April 3, 1979, in Columbus Ohio, to Floyd O’Dell Daniels Sr. and Jackie Jane Simpkins (Reams). She was also lovingly raised by Robert Doyle Sr. and Elsie Doyle, who played an important role in her life.

Throughout her life, Gloria made her home in many places in Ohio. Wherever she lived, she formed meaningful connections and left lasting memories.

Gloria was bright, funny, warm, generous, and compassionate, with a personality that could light up a room. She loved singing, listening to music, coloring, drawing, and creating arts and crafts. She also enjoyed collecting sugar skulls and Yodas and had a special love for the colors maroon and purple.

Gloria faced many difficult challenges, including being visually, impaired , losing her leg, and battling cancer. Through it all, she remained courageous and continued to find joy in music, creativity, laughter, and the people she loved.

Family was at the center of Gloria’s life. Her daughter, Angel Faye Daniels, was her pride and joy, and their bond was one of the greatest loves of her life. Gloria also shared her life with her spouse, Donnie Eugene Huggins, loved her son-in-law, Michael Hamilton, and cherished her grandbabies, especially her grandsons.

Gloria leaves behind her beloved spouse, Donnie Eugene Huggins; her daughter, Angel Faye Daniels, and son-in-law, Michael Hamilton; Leea Dale Daniels, Bobbie Jean Perry, Brandi Kay Daniels, Jessy Daniels and her wife, Annastasia Daniels, Nicole Reams, Elizabeth and Khristopher Zamudio, Justin Hott, Kyrus and Desa Daniels, Genievieve Daniels, Jackielee Schaade, Abbigale Schaade, Asia Price, and Austin Daniels; as well as many additional nieces, nephews, grandbabies, relatives, and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd O’Dell Daniels Sr.; her mother, Jackie Jane Simpkins (Reams), her brother, Floyd O’Dell Daniels Jr.; and Robert Doyle Sr. and Elsie Doyle, the loving people who raised her.

Gloria will be remembered for her laughter, humor, creativity, compassion, and unwavering love. Her life demonstrated the strength of a woman who continued moving forward despite hardship and remained devoted to the people who mattered most.

In her final moments, Gloria was home, in her own bed, surrounded by family and love. Though her absence leaves a deep sorrow, her memory will live on through her spouse, daughter, grandchildren, extended family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.

We will remember her through the music she loved, the colors maroon and purple, her creativity, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.

Gloria Frances Mae Daniels will never be forgotten.

Her life was a gift.

Her memory is a blessing.

Her love will remain with us always.
