Harold R. Shaw, age 89, of Utica, passed away on September 20, 2025. Harold was born on January 21, 1936, in Columbus, to the late Lawrence Herman and Marie (Gazinea) Myers.

He worked for Kinnear Manufacturing for 39 years, went on to work at Columbus Showcase for 5 years. Harold built his home in Somerset from the ground up and ran his company Shaw's Small Engine Repair out of his garage for many years. He was a member of the North Freewill Baptist Church and Community Freewill Baptist Church. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed building his tractor.

Harold is survived by his children, Harold "Dick" (Barbara J.) Shaw, Jonathan Michael (Lori) Shaw; 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Ruth Kerns.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Shaw; siblings Margie Brown, Robert "Bob" Shaw and Herman Shaw

Family will receive friends on September 27, 2025, from 11-12 PM at the Brucker Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main Street, Utica, Ohio 43080. Where his service will immediately follow at 12 PM with Pastor Scott Hutchinson officiating. The burial will take place in South Lawn Cemetery.
