Harry Leon Sowers

January 15, 1943 – September 4, 2019

Harry Leon Sowers, 76 of Homer passed away on September 4, 2019 at his residence. He was born on January 15, 1943 in Columbus to the late Harry B. and Princess Louise (Chisholm) Sowers.

Harry was a former member of the Shriner's and a 32 ^nd Degree Mason. He enjoyed playing the lottery and going to casinos. Harry loved playing the piano.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Harry Leon and Connie Sowers, Jr. and Raymond Leroy and Lisa Sowers; daughter, Barbara Louise Sowers; grandchildren, James Michael Matheny II, Benjamin Tyler Matheny, Daniel Alexander Matheny, Constance Sowers, and Christopher Andrix; four great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Jane Sowers; sister, Sharon Branscomb; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Lesley; and nephews, Jeremy and John Branscomb.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
