Howard Lee Fuller

Howard Lee Fuller 83, of Newark passed away August 22, 2021. He was born in Columbus Ohio on May 31, 1938, to the late George Howard Fuller and Isabelle Elizabeth (Feasel) Fuller

Howard was a graduate of Hartford High School with the class of 1956. Howard proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 6 years. He retired from Owens Corning Tech Center where he worked as a Pipefitter/Mechanical Engineer. Howard enjoyed being outdoors in the woods mushroom hunting, planting trees, and flowers. In his younger years he loved to bow hunt, but as he got older, he loved to watch the animals. He was a great storyteller from way back. Howard could fix just about anything, if you had something that needed fixed, he would think about it until he came up with a solution. He loved to help others.

He is survived by his son Bradley Eugene of Richland, NC; daughter, Dawn Renee Pickens of Newark; adopted daughter Teresa Lynn (Brent) Harden of St Louisville; 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren: sisters Wanda Huddleston and Phyllis (Jim) Bishop of Englewood, FL: brother Ronnie Fuller of Croton and a niece.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life partner of 34 years Darlene Cunningham, and mother of his children Theresa (Patton) Fuller.

A graveside service will be held at the Hartford Cemetery in Croton, OH at 10:00 am on Friday August 27.
