Utica - Calling hours for Ira Rowley, 81 of Utica, will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Bruce Hissong will officiate. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Ira died October 15, 2013 at Arlington Care Center, Newark. He was born April 20, 1932, in Martinsburg to the late Armor and Viola (Melick) Rowley. Ira farmed all his life.
He is survived by his brothers and sister-in-laws, Bill and Mary Lou Rowley of Johnstown, Richard and Beth Ann Rowley of Croton; sister, Betty of Loudonville; many nieces and nephews and special nieces, Mitzi and Amanda Metzger of Johnstown.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Russell Rowley.
